Biography
Xiaohan Wang is a Ph.D. candidate studying early American literature, history, and politics. Her dissertation project examines the representation of personal and social relations in American prose writings from the Revolutionary to the early Republic years. Her broad spectrum of interests also covers American Transcendentalism, as well as thinkers and writers including Henry James, Virginia Woolf, Simone de Beauvoir, and Hegel.
