Biography
Ran Tao is a Ph.D. student in English and a recipient of Presidential Fellowship at
the University of Notre Dame. Questioning the dichotomy between expression and
representation, she studies the affective, ethic and philosophical potentials of poetic
description in the Romantic Period.
