Biography
My research explores the connection between narrative forms and sexual subjectivity. Using bisexuality as a model, I look at how fiction and nonfiction can represent aspects of the queer experience that tend to be overshadowed by identity politics. I’m also interested in tracing the formal experiments of women writers from Virginia Woolf to Maggie Nelson and how new types of readers could be created from new types of writing.
