Tyler is incredibly passionate about his own and others’ education. Through his English major, he has realized the power of connection which he hopes to utilize in his future career as an educator. In addition to English, Tyler also has a supplementary major in Education, Schooling, and Society, and a minor in Theology. Tyler sees his academic interests as working together to deepen his understanding of all areas of his study. Outside of academics, Tyler has further honed his connection skills through his service as an O’Neill Hall Resident Assistant.
Following graduation, Tyler hopes to simultaneously pursue graduate studies in education and teach at a day school. In ten years, Tyler hopes to be a school principal and to have his own family. He also hopes to continue his current tradition of eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich every night before bed.
