A joint reading from recent work by Stephen Fredman and Hank Lazer.

Originally from California, Stephen Fredman taught in the English department at the University of Notre Dame from 1980-2017. His main field of expertise is modern American poetry and poetics. He is the author of five monographs, the most recent of which is American Poetry as Transactional Art. His newest book is a poetic memoir, Pass Through: A Book of Memory Pieces.

Hank Lazer has published thirty-four books of poetry, including P I E C E S (BlazeVOX, 2022), When the Time Comes (Dos Madres Press, 2022), field recordingsĀ  of mindĀ  in morning (with 15 music-poetry tracks with Holland Hopson on banjo - available from Bandcamp and on YouTube), COVID 19 SUTRAS, Slowly Becoming Awake (N32), and Poems That Look Just Like Poems.
