Tess Gunty's debut novel, The Rabbit Hutch, was recently published by Knopf (North America) and Oneworld (UK & Commonwealth). In August, Booksellers across the UK awarded The Rabbit Hutch the Waterstones Debut Fiction Prize, voting it the best debut novel of 2022. The Rabbit Hutch is a Barnes & Noble Discover Pick of the Month and an IndieNext Pick. Tess has an MFA in Creative Writing from NYU, where she was a Lillian Vernon Fellow. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in The Iowa ReviewGrantaLiterary HubJoylandFreeman's, the Los Angeles Review of BooksNo TokensFlash, and elsewhere. She was raised in South Bend, Indiana, and lives in Los Angeles.
