Julie Morrissy is the first Poet-in-Residence at the National Library of Ireland. Her project Radical!: Women and the Irish Revolution comprises a podcast series and poetry pamphlet. She was the 2021-22 National Endowment of the Humanities Fellow at the Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies at the University of Notre Dame. Morrissy is a recipient of the MAKE Theatre Award 2021, and the 2018 Arts Council of Ireland ‘Next Generation’ Award. She holds a PhD in Creative Writing from Ulster University, and separate degrees in literature, and law. Her website is www.juliemorrissy.com
