Lawrence Principe is Drew Professor of the Humanities, Department of the History of Science and Technology and Department of Chemistry, at Johns Hopkins University. Professor Principe is also Director of the Singleton Center for the Study of Premodern Europe. Professor Principe, author of The Secrets of Alchemy, will show us some alchemical tests and procedures.
