The Book that Changed America:  Celebrating Ralph Ellison's Invisible Man

On Thursday, March 1 students and faculty from the English Department will be holding a public reading of selections from Ralph Ellison's novel Invisible Man to commemorate the 60th anniversary of its publication.  When the novel appeared in March 1952 it helped catalyze the Civil Rights Movement.  

Students and faculty will read selections from the novel in the Great Hall of O'Shaughnessy from 11-3 on
March 1, Ellison's birthday.
