Joshua Wright is a Postdoctoral Fellow working with Graduate Student Life at the University of Notre Dame. He completed his PhD, “Romanticism on the Battlefield: Representations of Conflict, 1798-1815” in the English department under the direction of Greg Kucich. Before coming to the University of Notre Dame, he received his BA at the University of Iowa. A specialist in British Romanticism, his research focuses primarily on the war literature of the Romantic era, with a particular focus on the image of the battlefield in poetic responses to the Napoleonic Wars. In addition to this focus, Joshua’s work frequently engages with ecocritical perspectives.
