Kyler Schubkegel is a PhD student in the Department of English specializing in American literature of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Kyler also works as a graduate associate at Notre Dame Learning's Kaneb Center for Teaching Excellence. In that role he produced a reflection on the challenges that Artificial Intelligence pose to teaching literature classes, and some suggested in-class exercises for helping students understand what AI can and can't do. Reflect with him through his article "Building Critical AI Literacy in the Humanities Classroom."
