Latinx Poetics: a One-Day Gathering

Letras Latinas, the literary initiative at the Institute for Latino Studies, and the Creative Writing Program, are pleased to present this one-day gathering, inspired by the recent publication of Latinx Poetics: Essays on the Art of Poetry (University of New Mexico Press, 2022), edited by Ruben Quesada.

The gathering on April 12th includes two sessions in room 205 on the second floor of McKenna Hall.

"Latinx Poetics: a one-day gathering" is made possible with funding from the Poetry Foundation, as well as  co-sponsorships from the Initiative on Race and Resilience, and the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures, in addition to the Creative Writing Program.

There will be a public reception on the second floor of McKenna Hall  outside room 205 at 7:15 PM before the evening session, and books will be for sale.

A schedule of the two 90-minute sessions is below
