We are pleased to announce that Richard A. Strier, Sulzberger Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus at the University of Chicago, is the 2013-2014 Religion and Literature lecturer.

Professor Strier will give a lecture entitled “Mind, Nature, Heterodoxy, and Iconoclasm in The Winter’s Tale.”  A reception will follow.

Professor Strier visit is sponsored by Religion and Literature, the ISLA Henkels Lecture fund, the Department of English, the minor in Philosophy, Religion, and Literature, and the Program of Liberal Studies.
