Professor Norman MacLeod will speak on the topic "Geometric Ecomorphology: Shape Analysis, Taxonomy, Ecology, and the Modeling of Morphological Adaptation." Professor MacLeod is Keeper of Paleontology at the Natural History Museum of London (http://www.nhm.ac.uk/hosted_sites/paleonet/MacLeod/). His visit is presented by the History and Philosophy of Science Graduate Program in the Reilly Center for Science, Technology, and Values and cosponsored by the Departments of Biological Sciences, English, and History, and the College of Arts and Letters.
