MFA Student Readings #2

-

The Student Reading Series of Notre Dame’s MFA Program in Creative Writing has moved to Carey Auditorium in Hesburgh Library.

Steve Owen will drag you up out of the blood-stained basement and trap you in a room where gravity has no effect on ice cream.

Alireza Taheri Araghi will buy you chocolate cake and serve it in a dumpster, but he may try to sell your soul in the process.

Lauro Vazquez will stick you behind the counter but lovesong open your mind ‘til what you see are all the sensitivities of strawberries and how to be free.

These readers might take you into harsh or distorted worlds, but in the end you will see the grand design. Come see what our up-and-coming writers have to offer.
