Chris Holdaway is a poet, editor, & linguist from Auckland, New Zealand.  He co-founded Compound Press as an attempted interface between NZ & international poets & audiences. The press publishes two e-journals (Minarets, & Annexe), as well as a series of handmade chapbooks. He completed BA(honours first class) and MA(honours first class) degrees in linguistics at the University of Auckland, where he researched formal & computational approaches to morphosyntax & pragmatics.
