Joshua Wright is a PhD student specializing in British Romanticism. His undergraduate thesis focussed on separating fact from fiction in the history of the Villa Diodati ghost storytelling challenge—his research on this topic sparked an interest in continued examination of the constructed nature of various similar mythologized events that often dominate subsequent perceptions of literary history. Additional research interests include Romantic era life writing and self-representation.
