Kyla Walker

Kyla D. Walker is a Turkish and Creole writer. Her writing has been published or is forthcoming in the Los Angeles Times, Electric Literature, The Hopkins Review, and the Threepenny Review. She was selected as a Tin House Summer Workshop Scholar, a PERIPLUS Collective Fellow, and one of four finalists for the Key West Literary Seminar's Emerging Novelist Award in 2023. Currently, Kyla is an MFA Candidate in Creative Writing at the University of Notre Dame and an Editorial Intern at Electric Literature. More of her work can be found at kd-walker.com.
