Profile
Noreen Deane-Moran's areas of expertise is English language for non-native speakers, linguistics, and Middle English literature. She has related narrative form to length in fourteenth-century English romances, and her interest in the hero and the structure of romance has developed into a focus on point of view in the novel. Her interest in history of the language and in linguistics led to the formation, management, and teaching of courses in the oral/aural use of English for graduate students, faculty, and postdoctoral scholars in various departments throughout the university.
