A three-day international conference exploring the impact brief medieval Norse settlements have had on cultural imagination in and of the Americas--in novels, poetry, history, politics, arts and crafts, comics, films, and video games.
The conference is made possible with the assistance of a Faculty Research Program Initiation Grant, the Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts, the Notre Dame College of Arts and Letters, the Henkels Lecture Series, the Medieval Institute, the Nanovic Institute for European Studies, and the Department of English.
Sessions are open to the public. Preregistration by audience attendees is requested. Click here for full conference details and registration.
