Terry Eagleton Public Lecture "The End of the Humanities"

The Department of English brings you the eighth public lecture by Terry Eagleton, Excellence in English Distinguished Visiting Professor. Eagelton's lecture, "The End of the Humanities," will be at 4:30 pm Wednesday, April 24, in the Snite Museum Annenberg Auditorium.

Terry Eagleton is a British literary theorist widely regarded as Britain's most influential living literary critic.  Author of over 40 books primarily in literary criticism and theory, he resides at Notre Dame three weeks each semester through Spring 2014.
