Jace Brittain Biography
Jace was born in 1989 in Fallbrook, CA one month and three days before the fall of the Berlin Wall, something he didn't know very much about until much later. He was an apolitical baby, or he tried his best. He received his BA from the University of Southern California in 2012. At times in between those two dates, he worked at the college radio station KXSC, sold fruit for his farming grandparents, and wrote his thesis about German translations of Hamlet. At this moment, he is occupied by the fiction of Lydia Davis, the music of Bill Callahan, silent movie slapstick, and facial expressions on Lewis chessmen. He wishes he was better at chess.
